"Discover Your Potential Symposium"

The rider application deadline is 15 April and submitted via email to Sheli King, [email protected] Applications will be invoiced for 50% of the symposium fees, plus a $25 processing fee. Refunds, less the processing fee, will be made to those riders not selected and the processing fee can be applied to one day of auditing.

VADA will be accepting only 35 in-person auditors. The fee is $25 a day for VADA members and Non--VADA members is $40 which includes snacks, lunch, drinks, and all unmounted activities.  The symposium will be lived streamed and available for viewing at no cost to VADA members and $10 Non-VADA members.

In-Person Auditor and Virtual Participation Registration Applications will be posted in the upcoming week.

Need VADA Volunteer Hours? We are ISO a few volunteers to assist with the VADA Symposium (Stave Mill Farm, Esmont, VA, June 26 & 27). We are seeking one person to receive and track auditor applications, as well as a volunteer each day at the clinic to assist with checking in auditors and aiding with other activities as needed, including possibly picking up lunches within a 30-minute radius of the clinic.

USDF Launches New Virtual Education Series

The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) announced the launch of its new USDF University Virtual Education Series. Developed with the support of the USDF Adult Programs Committee, this series will feature quarterly live webinars, covering a variety of topics of interest to our members. These webinars will be open to all members at no charge and after completion, will be converted into virtual courses hosted through USDF University. The first webinar of this series is Tips for Improving Scores with Kathy Rowse and Bill McMullin (USEF Senior Judges and USDF L Education and Instructor/Trainer faculty members, respectively), which will take place on April 14, 2021, followed by the second of the series in June.

Virginia Dressage Association

Virginia Dressage Association (VADA) is a Group Member Organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). VADA is made up of eight chapters: Central (VADA-CC), Charlottesville (VADA-CH), Fredricksburg (VADAF), Northeast (VADA-NE), Northern Virginia (VADA/NOVA), Shenandoah Valley (ShenVADA), Southeast (SVDA), and Southwest (SWVADA).

VADA offers educational opportunities in the forms of scholarships, clinics, recognized shows, and schooling shows for its members. VADA recognizes rider achievements through the Year-End Awards Program.
